So we’re moving in less than 2 weeks!!! Oh my gosh the time has flown! I am trying hard to get everything done, so I thank you to those who are patiently waiting for your photos. Ya’ll have been so awesome! Did you notice the new logo?? I’m not sure about the blog header but that will change once the blog gets an overhaul later this summer. But I am loving the new logo!

Here are some sneak peeks from a recent Engagement Session I did at Summer’s Mill out between Belton and Salado Texas. We shot a whopping 511 frames in 45 minutes. This family was so much fun!! And little miss Isabelle, she’s so stinkin’ cute I could just pinch her! So needless to say, of the ones I am presenting, here are just a few with more to come!

I had wanted to make it a point to add a new mini-session to the blog each day as I was working on them, but as you can tell I’ve missed the last couple days. I have some work to put up tomorrow and I assure you it’s worth the wait!

This evening my husband and I went to my co-worker’s wedding and it was just beautiful. I love going to weddings because it always reminds us of the magic and passion that surrounds such strong love. I have been with my husband since 2003 and we’re coming up on our 3 year wedding anniversary next month, though we have packed enough stress in the last 5 years to equal out to 10 years of marriage! Between moving countries, the military, deployment, deaths in the family, immigration, work, property and the responsibilities associated with that, getting out the military and figuring out the next step, the tormentuous life of a student, paying for school, etc, etc, it’s been a lot to deal with! But going to a wedding always brings you back to where you started; two crazy kids who fell in love and come hell or high water, always sticking together no matter what. It’s a beautiful thing.

So here’s to Kayla and Justin, may you have a wonderfully blessed marriage and no matter what life throws at you, remember where you started and how love truly knows no boundries. (The picture is from their engagement session I did with them in August).
