I just had to share this brilliant and gorgeous photo that my oldest sister took this past week of her 3 kiddos (who are so precious to my heart I just can’t stand being away from them or my 5 other darling neices and nephews, Auntie loves you all!). This was taken in Alberta on a family camping trip. This photograph steals my breath away! (I told you photography runs in my family!)

2008 has been such a year full of blessings for me. My photography has just taken off and is soaring to new heights leaving me very excited for 2009. Thank you with all my heart to all my clients for making me feel warm fuzzies for all of you and for letting me sneak a peek into your beautiful lives. Thank you!

If I had to truly pick the highlight of 2008, one event would fit both my professional world and my personal world. My 87 year old Grandpa found love again this year and married his sweet Dorothy on Sept 27th of this year in Oklahoma. It was so incredible to be there to witness Grandpa and Dorothy uniting is such total giddy crazy love. They were like a couple of kids! So I may be biased, but photographing their wedding was my favorite session of 2008. It meant so much to me and to all of those who were there! I put together a little slideshow a little overdue. Love you Grandpa and Dorothy!

Today marks our third wedding anniversary!! Daniel was incredibly sweet and brought me a HUGE bouqet of lillies to work and serenaded me with Love Me Tender! I love him so much, I honestly wasn’t expecting him to do anything like that! The last three years being Mrs. Strom have been such a state of bliss. We have been through so much together the last 4 years from long distance relationship, Iraq deployment, my father passing away in 2005 and my best friend in 2007, moving multiple times, IMMIGRATION (the bane of my existance!), jobs, getting out of the military, school, going on 3 years trying for a baby, etc, etc. We’ve had our ups and our downs and I can honestly say that I fall more and more in love with Daniel every single day. We have survived so much together in just this short amount of time I know we can survive and thrive through anything life throws our way.

Sweetheart, thank you for being the strong man you are, for loving me unconditionally, for everything you are. I love and respect you more than I could every truly describe. Thank you God, for such a blessing as our marriage!

The photo was taken on our wedding day in 2005. In blue jeans in the JP’s front yard with our friends in Louisiana. No mess, no stress, just love. It was perfect.

And for those anxiously awaiting sneak peeks, I apologize I’ve become a bit behind updating the blog and adding the Pow Wow gallery to the website. Sharing the computer with a full time student makes me can’t wait until the new year when I get my macbook! Thank you for being so patient!

I wanted to take a small break in posting my work and post one of my very favorites that my sister Jamie took of her oldest daughter, my beautiful neice Felicity Dawn. This little angel is now a ten year old tween only a couple years away from junior high! I miss everyone very very much! Auntie loves you!!
